A Light in Darkness (Uchiha Itachi)

Currently, the Raikage was hosting a party for a succes in alliance with the Mist Village, it was the perfect time to execute the assassination. But, the Akatsuki wanted to know how much information on their headquartes did he know, unecessary assassination was futile since it would attract the attention since this is a Kage we are talking about.

Amber was currently an undercover singer and was singing for the party, Dianne was on her way with getting the information from the Raikage himself, and Itachi was somewhere in the crowd.

All those rich Daimyos and Ladies listened to Amber intently as she expressed her feelings through her song, she even let a small tear slip while singing the chorus. Finally, the emotions just burst out and Amber sang really good, her emotions went on with the song. There was no single noise uttered, except Dianne's simple, "She's not that good," outburst.

Finally, the song ended, the people were happy, while Amber ran into the gardens, crying to her heart's content.

It was all a misunderstanding...maybe he really loved her too

"No he doesn't," Amber silently whispered to herself.

The moon shone intently at Amber, it was trying to tell her something, that there was a happening today that will lead to something, somethng disasterrific.

The words rang clearly in her head, as she clutched it in pain, the inflammation of it was killing her. That only lead to one thing...

"I'm going to transform tonight...the 4th stage nutssunen has finally activated, the Devil Transformation,"

Amber dropped on the ground clutching her head in pain.

'This can't be happening...argh..'

At the last minute, Amber thought the pain was going to kill her instantly, but instead, the pain suddenly shot from her back where a pair of bat like wings sprouted from it ripping a part of her dress in the process.

As the transformation ended, Amber let out a blood curdling scream, with that people started assembling outside in the gardens, ushering the children to stop watching and get inside.

The Raikage dashed quickly outside and widened his eyes, "A Shinjitsu..? But, I thought they died 5 years ago," He whispered to himself, suddenly the Raikage could only cough up a word as he was slammed into a nearby wall.

"You're going to die tonight, say hi to your creator for me," Amber whispered harshly in his ear, sounding inhuman after each and every word.

With that, the Raikage withdrew his last breath and ended his streak.

"Pitiful, you died so easily,"

With the sudden Raikage's death, the guests quickly ran inside the castle, quickly ordering their bodyguards; who were mere Chuunin ninjas to fight in their place.

With a newly improved agility, Amber quickly performed hands seals and whisper in such an excruciating way, "Ninpou: Herukaji no Jutsu!" (Ninja Skill: Hellfire Technique)

A barrage of flames quickly disposed of the middle ranked shinobis, their threat was only minimum.

Amber let out a harsh laughter as she stared up at another human, he was strangely attractive with blood red eyes.

"Amber, you just disrupted our mission, what kind of madness is this?!" He said.

Amber...?

"I'm sorry," Amber started with a grim look on her face, it quickly diminished as another harsh smile appeared replacing it, "Amber is no longer with us, she gave up her soul in order to get revenge...because of you."

The man narrowed his eyes, not understanding what Amber meant.

Somehow, because of the transformation her bloodlust increased dramatically wanting to remove each and every living thing that crossed her path, including the man that stood before her.

No don't...!

Amber quickly dashed towards him with her clawed hands about to strike, with such a fast intuition, the man grabbed her wrist and pinned Amber against the wall.

"What do you mean she's not here?!"

"The one you call 'Amber' is no longer here, I sent her mind to oblivion, because she didn't want to be reminded of her...emotional pain."

"Then, if you're not her, who are you?!"

Amber sneered at the man how foolish of him to be letting his guard down, "My name is Lucifer, I claimed their clan because of the sins commited by her ancestors, I also claim each member born in the Shinjitsu clan because they vowed to remain loyal to me even until death and they shall call upon me to feed on their souls when they are in extreme pain."

The man quickly closed his eyes and reopened them making three of the red dots in his eyes swirl around in a circular motion, as Lucifer's eye and his made eye contact, he sent Amber to a world where he can control what she sees.

When Amber started to look around, she was crucified to a cross with the man infront of her, in a blink of an eye, she felt a thousand swords go into her in such a gruesome way.

After, twenty four hours or so Amber thought, she was removed from that world and was bought back to reality.

"Such pain and grotesque only reminded me of where I come from, pitiful, I thought you were at the level where you could be my formidable opponent, but of course a mere mortal cannot defeat a god like me."

"What's going on?!" Screeched a young woman whose lip stick was slightly unstable, a part of her clothes were torned off and her high pitched voice made you turn all your attention towards this despicable woman.

Lucifer released it's grip on the man and started advancing towards the pitiful woman, it quickly thrust it's clawed hands towards her but stopped when it saw fear overcome her...

"Hey Dianne!"

"Oi, Amber, what are you doing there, we're going to be late for the party!"

"Okay,"

"Her human feelings are starting to get to me," Lucifer whispered as it released 'Dianne' letting her run back to the castle.

With Lucifer's guard now down, the man sent a kick towards it which sent it flying on one of the castle walls, Lucifer held up it's feet which stopped it from colliding with the wall and with it's wings quickly sent it to attack the man with such brutal force that'll kill him instantly.

A Loud heartbeat was heard as Lucifer sent it's fist towards his face...

I said don't!

"I know, because I have you to be my most precious person,"

My most precious...

"It's most important to find a world that belongs to us, Life is meaningful only when we can find this world, Itachi, I think for you this world is a shinobi's,"

Before Amber's fist collided with his face, she became mortal again, turning into her once human form she crashed into Itachi as he held her tightly and safely in his arms.

"Itachi..."

A droplet of water continuously fell as she slept through the night. Her heartbeat slowly beating, as if she was going to end her life from this moment. Actually, in the dark, she was dreaming, her thoughts re enhabiting her mind as if they were home.

When he was born, he did not cry, only after a few months he could walk on his own, his parents were very proud of Itachi. Not a month later, another child was born, a beautiful mesmerizing child with an eye of a snake. Her father and mother were proud of their first born baby, their pride and most precious.

Three years after, Yanagi, along with her younger daughter had visited the Uchiha Compound to meet her best friend, Uchiha Mikoto.

Amber looked around the compound where younger children were playing around, supervised by their mothers or the elderly.

"Mikoto-san?" Her mother asked as she knocked at a nearby house. Amber's eyes glaze over at a young boy who was sitting on the front porch playing with his kunai.

Slowly walking over to him, Amber outstrectched her hand, "Hey, I'm Amber,"

The young boy who was trained in the Arts of the Shinobi at a young age looked up at the innocent happy girl that stood before him, he was taught not to ever trust anyone because a ninja was all about trickery and manipulation.

But, Itachi was also raised to have manners and so his onyx eyes gazed to Amber and grasped her outstretched hand. "Uchiha Itachi, it's a pleasure to meet you, Amber."

"Ah, Itachi-kun, I've see you've met Amber-chan," Both of there eyes avert to Itachi's mother, who had wide smile on her face. "You two look perfect for each other," Yanagi spoke softly.


When Amber and Itachi entered the Academy, Amber's friendship with him still hasn't build up. Since, he was always a man of few words. The Uchiha prodigy would be seen walking alone, eating alone, and training alone at most of the time. When Amber got to the Academy, she met Rin, a bubbly girl who dreams of being a professional medical ninja. Mitarashi Anko, a very rebellious girl who's great at Ninjutsu, Uchiha Obito, a rather obnoxious boy and the child prankster of the class, and lastly Hatake Kakashi, the school's wonder guy, every girl is fascinated by his 'mysterious' attitude.

A year later both Amber and Itachi graduated from the Academy at 7 years old. Of course, as always Fugaku Uchiha was proud of his first born son, when Itachi didn't take in any of his praises.

At the age of 9, the both of them took the Chuunin Selection Exam, Itachi won his matches and defeated his opponents like they were rats against a lion. Amber almost lost her last match since she had to go up against Hatake Kakashi, but eventually her Kekkei Genkai activated and helped her win.

Now, Amber's 13 years old and so was he. Tomorrow was the Academy Entrance Ceremony and her mother was there to attend it with Amber's younger sibling.

"Ano..Itachi-kun, do you think we'll pass the ANBU entrance exam?" Amber asked, the prodigy child right beside her.

"I have no intention on taking it, although Sasuke wants to be a police one day," He replies, as always with that serious voice.

"What? Why?! You're such an awesome ninja, Itachi,"

He turned to Amber and placed his hand on her shoulder, "As tempting as that sounds, like I said, I have no intention on taking it,"

Amber sighed and placed her hands on her pocket, "I don't get you smart people,"

The two of them walked to the entrance of the Uchiha compound, where Fugaku stood waiting, alongside him was Amber's mother.

"You're late, what were you doing?" Both parents stared at Amber and Itachi seriously, like watching a hawk.

"We need to speak to you know, come quickly," Fugaku commands as Amber and Itachi nod in reply.

Itachi and Sasuke were taken to another room of the house, while Amber's mother had her go into the kitchen where Mikoto was.

"You're Yanagi's daughter alright," Mikoto exclaims, while clapping her hands, "Only half a year since raising your status to Chuunin, you've come this far,"

Amber's mother smiled at her, "True, and Amber-chan, you've been acting strange lately," She commented. Amber point to herself questioningly, "Me? What'd I do?"

"It's nothing, you just seem a bit flushed lately," Mikoto replies along with her mother.

"EH?! Are you saying I'm in love?!" Amber exclaimed, going a bit scarlet.


"I can't believe you're really going through this," Amber replyed a bit exhasperated, "I mean...do you really need to test your capacity?"

The prodigy stared intently at Amber, "I knew I could trust you to make honest comments, but I didn't know you were going to be disgusted at me,"

Amber's face flushed in embarassment, "It's not that," She started, "It's...what if they catch you? You'll surely be killed by those ANBU members, and..." Amber gulped while clutching the end of her shirt, "I'm worried about you.."




It was another day ready to end, Amber and Itachi sat on the banks of the Nakano river waiting for the sun to settle.

"All the girls around here always thinks about you," Amber stated while leaning back a bit, "It's like you're a GOD to them, it's kind of annoying sometimes,"

Itachi turned to Amber and then onto the settling sun, he smiled a bit, "Are you disgusted at me?" he asked almost alarmingly.

Amber just stared at him with an unbelievable face, "It's okay," he replied, "It's natural for a ninja to live their lives being hated by others."

Amber turned her head at him ready to protest, "I didn't feel like...it's just like you said. To be honest about you, I..." her heart started to beat in an abnormal fast phase, "I...", Amber sighed hardly, "I've always been jealous of you, how you're always so...powerful, while I'm pitiful and weak."

Itachi just chuckled at Amber's reply, "Being excellent has its own problems too. If you have power, you'll eventually become isolated and eventually become arrogant. Even if you were everything people wished from the start." Amber blinked her eyes at how serious he was being, she listened intently as he continued, "But, there are no other friends like us in the world. I'll always be with you, as a friend who will protect you no matter what."

As he said that, Amber's heart started beating faster and faster, she lowered her head to hide her scarlet face from the world.

"Even if you were to hate me, that is what a real friend is for,"

Amber's eyes opened and adjusted with the dim lighting of the room. "What the...?"

I'll always be a friend, who will protect you no matter what...

"That memory.." Amber whispered, "...that was five years ago..."

After, lying around in the bed and staring at the ceiling, she stood up and did morning necessities. Amber swiftly opened the door and closed it, desparately needing fresh air, for the whole..apartment smelled like tobacco and drunk men.

As the light of the sun touched Amber's skin, it felt like she was in darkness for too long. Amber inhaled the fresh air, the smell of rain passed her nostrils. Since it was a bit chilly, she wrapped her Akatsuki coat around her, fending for warmth.

Amber's feet had dragged her endlessly towards the Forest. The whole place was isolated from the people, just as she wished, "I wish..I could back in time,"

Amber continued to walk, feeling denser than usual, until she stopped infront of a vast river. It's peacefully entity made her want to stare at it for hours, nature was really a beautiful site.

"Beautiful isn't it...?" A voice suddenly called out, all Amber could do was be paralyzed..at the sudden recognition.

"Orochimaru-sensei.." Amber choked out, as he placed himself beside her. Amber's eyes glazed over to him, the traitor of Konoha, standing beside her.

"Amber," He started, "...you are sisters with Kimi..am I correct?"

"What'd you want with her? Knowing you, you must want her for your experiments...well, stay away, or else.."

"...You'll kill me? I stand corrected, Amber my dear, I won't use her for experiments...the sister of yours simply..knows too much about what I'm looking for," Orochimaru's hazel eyes looked at Amber, drawing her to him, as if he wants her to join him once again as an apprentice, "..I believe Kimi is somewhat a special person to the one I desire..."

"Uchiha Sasuke...?" Amber asked, as her eyes met with his, "..he is the one you desire..."

"Yes," Amber felt herself being immobilized as her eyes and his met, "It is the younger brother of Itachi that I want...and I want you as well...you were...an important student of mine," Amber watched as he licked his lips, with a disgusted look on her face she looked away, but Orochimaru forced her to look at him, "You see Amber, you aren't just a mere apprentice to me like the trash Mitarashi Anko was, somehow...you bonded with the cursed seal, heightened your agility, strength...even killer instincs.."

All Amber could utter out was a chuckle, "...I did not bond with your pathetic seal...I turned it to one of my own.." she motioned her neck so Orochimaru could see the sign on her collarbone.



Orochimaru had an amused smile on his hideous face, "I see..."

Suddenly, several ninjas appeared out of nowhere with Sound forehead protectors. "Then let's test it shall we...men...attack!"

Two shinobis attacked Amber from all sides, her eyes transformed into its Doujutsu form and as she stared at the two infront of her, well, their onboxious smile faltered, "Goodbye..."

The two ninjas dropped to the ground as they see their own fears, with a quick slash of the kunai, Amber threw them onto the river. The two behind her, met her eyes as well, but it seems they had much stronger mental power then the previous. Amber formed two chakra balls on either of her palms and chucked it into their stomach, "Satsugaite no Jutsu!"

Suddenly, two ninjas on Amber's right attacked her with a couple of kunais. One sliced off some of her hair, the other cutting the skin on her cheek.

Amber's eyes twitched and her hands quickly did a couple of hand seals, "Demonic Illusion, Hell Descent Technique!"

As Amber said out the words, a grand fireball comes straight towards the two sound shinobis as they stare at it in fear...and distraction. Amber quickly slashed a kunai towards them, "Two more..."

Then suddenly, Orochimaru steps into the combat, "I want you to be the first...Konoha shinobi to see the technique I've been working on and finally succeeded," Orochimaru quickly performs the designated hand seals as Amber stared at him in bewilderment.

"Kuchiyose Edo Tensei!" (Impure World Resurrection)
A box arises from the ground, from who knows where, labeled 'FOURTH'.

The door that encloses the wooden box drops to the ground, only to reveal...the spiky blonde haired Hokage entitled 'Yellow Flash'.

The tears in Amber' eyes slowly fall as she stared at the summoned person, "Yondaime-sensei..."

"Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Rashoumon!" Instead of the resulting summoned animal of flesh and blood, Amber summoned a large impenetratable gate, with the face of a demon in it. The Rasengan collided with the gate, but due to its large mass and power, even the most powerful techniques won't be able to destroy it.

The sound of clapping and an amused laugh rang through Amber's ears, the side of her head motioned towards the ill colored face of the Sannin.

"Very good, Amber," Orochimaru knelt down in front of her and re-did the technique, causing the gate to vanish without a trace, "You just did what I wanted you to do,"

"Which is what?" Amber asked, as she began to cough out blood in a grotesque kind of way, "I don't intend in joining you for whatever you're doing!"

"Such a rebel, Amber," the snake master then pulls her hair and with the Kusanagi sword, chopped it in half. Black strands of hair started to fall aimlessly to the ground; some began to get blown away.

He then traces the sword down Amber's collarbone and then to her neck, "Your hatred is very amusing, I know you joined the Akatsuki in search for power so you could slay your bastard of a father, I can grant you that."

A small smile traced Amber's rose colored lips, "I want power," Orochimaru then grabbed her arm and helped her stand up to her feet, her eyes glinted with pure malice as she stared at the traitor of Konoha, "...but I don't need it from you,"

Amber then focused a huge amount of energy on her fist, and with pure instinct alone, sent it towards the mortified look on Orochimaru's face. However, she failed to notice that her true opponent was behind her, and with that, the fourth Hokage thrusted his swirling ball of energy towards her stomach and she couldn't do anything about it.

The sound slowly slipped away from Amber's ears, the color of her eyes slowly growing into a tiny lavender dot, and her body was hurled into a nearby rock. Amber's head collided with the hard attribute of the mineral, but she didn't feel any pain, just regret.

That he didn't return her feelings...

She didn't die in his arms...

All Amber's life, she'd been living in a lie...

The feeling of hot liquid fell down Amber's face, as the memories start to reminisce and just suddenly vanish.

"I became a shinobi, so I could be like the person I cared about the most,"

"Our world..." Amber muttered as the colors around her began to diminish, "...is dead" and slowly the silence surrounded and engulfed her very soul, leading her into its solemn darkness.

"Master Orochimaru, is she dead?" asked a mere young man with neon colored hair and glasses, "I thought she was part of the plan,"

"No, Kabuto," replied the snake master, "She is still part of the plan and of course she's not dead, only her memories are..."

"What should we do about Uchiha Itachi, Orochimaru-sama?" asked the one named Kabuto, his master merely smiled to himself, "Nothing, Kabuto, if he wants her then he shall come to me,"

Kabuto just nodded, and picked up the almost dead body of the missing-nin, "Do we bring her to Konoha?"

"Yes, as planned, we leave her at the infirmary to generate her strength back,"

"But, Orochimaru-sama, she is a classified missing ninja, a traitor of her village, what makes you think that the village and its people will forgive her?" asked the apprentice.

"Because," Orochimaru then started to walk away, Kabuto followed suit, waiting for an answer, "...it wasn't her fault,"


The further we are apart, the nearer I feel you are.

Orochimaru and his second hand transformed into examiners and bought forth Amber's body into the infirmary. Many medical ninjas rushed towards them and led them to the emergency room.

"Her heartbeat's slowly deteriorating,"

"Doctor, her head injury caused an abnormal paralysis throughout her anatomy,"

"There's nothing we could do, but bandage up her physical injuries and bone fractures,"

The dozen of medical ninjas that attended Amber, slowly retreated as two doctors led her to her designated room.

"All we could do right now, is wait,"

Unknown to them, Amber's body was regenerating on its own; the Devil Bloodline wasn't legendary for nothing. The red blood cells began to replace the ones that she'd lost and the white cells began healing her injuries.

The lavender aura that was known to be ignored with the naked eye was now finally being seen by the doctors that widened their eyes.

"Such power, she must really want to remain alive after such a battle," said one of the female ninjas that passed by.

"I wonder who she fought, that ninja caused a great deal of damage to her body,"

And slowly, after a few hours, Amber's eyes finally start to open and her body adjusting to the room temperature.

"Where am I?" Amber moaned and clutched her bandaged head, "nuts,"

"Miss, the two examiners that bought you here said that you were found almost dead by the front gate, do you remember anything, like who was your attacker?"

"Doctor Fujiwara, I think it's not wise to ask such questions after all the patient just woke up," said one of the female medical nin, her emerald eyes gazed towards Amber's lavender, snake fashioned ones, "What?!" Amber asked in a harsh tone, much too harsh maybe.

"What's your name?"

"My name?" Amber rubbed her palm across her forehead and closed her eyes, "...my name,"

Her mind wandered relentlessly through her head, nothing...it was filled with nothingness, no memories, no nothing.

Without warning, Amber's head suddenly started to ache in pain, like some vein was twisted accidentally, "Ahhh...!"

"What's happening? Dear?!" asked the doctor as they all rushed by her side, some checking the heart monitor if Amber was going to live or not.

"...my name...!"

'Why can't I remember? Who am I?'

"...what's my name..?!" you shouted and violently pushed one of the doctors out of your way and proceeded to leave the room, "Bring me back where you found me?!" Amber grabbed a doctor by his collar and glared in his eyes.

"I...I don't know..."

"Pathetic, do you have any information on who I am?" Amber asked brashly, as her eyes glinted with bloodlust.

"I..." and then suddenly, Amber showed him, what fear...really is.

"Your name is Amber,"

Amber looked behind her to see a younger version of herself, she looked to be about thirteen years old and she had the same eyes and the same enigma that she did.

"...and you're a traitor,"

"Kami-sama, I hate kids." Amber's voice droned out as she stared at the volatile little girl that stood opposite from her. Her eyes reverberating from hers and glistened with pure malevolence.

"Now, do you remember?" asked the girl, what was her name? Ah. Kimi something. She was supposedly Amber's younger sibling, but still, not a pop of memory enlightened her mind about her and everything else in this world.

"No kid, with you giving me the silent treatment and all, I couldn't even understand a thing you were saying." Was Amber's antagonistically styled reply. Kimi sighed and rolled her eyes, she was annoyed and furious. If Amber looked really hard and squinted her eyes a bit, she'd see that stress mark on her forehead.

"Oh Kami-sama, don't let me kill my only family." The younger one placed a hand on the seal tattooed on Amber's collarbone, she whispered some kind of enchantment and the seal started to glow a light purple.

Pictures flooded Amber's mind like a broken dam, but they were incomplete. None led to another, they were pieces of memories.

"Incomplete? Why is that, how come they're cut short?" Kimi removed her hand and placed it on her pockets. She sat down on a nearby bench and sighed tiredly, "Because, those are my memories. They weren't yours."

Amber just stood up and stared at the kid with a little bit of an annoyed face, "Well that helps, how the heck am I going to get my memories back? If what you say is true, then this Oro-snake dude has my memories. Say, what're the chances me meeting up with him?"

Kimi snapped her head and stared towards Amber, her lips tightening, "None! Orochimaru is a dangerous guy, you'll get killed."

"Feh. Can't a girl live a little dangerously? Jeez, kids these days." Amber mumbled snottily, her hot head attitude appearing and dominantly took over her body.

"Look kid, er...Kimi, I'll do anything to get my memories back and no little girl is stopping me from doing so." Amber replied as her feet started to lead her way towards Konoha's exit.

As Amber was about to jump off and be free as a bird, a hand wrapped around her waist and failed her from doing so. "What the?"

"Now Amber, you wouldn't want to get in trouble with the council again, do you?" a soothing voice cooed, her eyes motioned towards the person behind and her. And with quick movement Amber grabbed the person's hand and flipped them in front of her.

"Don't touch me, loser!"

Amber's eyes were now staring at a silver haired, masked jounin, his eyes swirly and confused.

"Kakashi-sensei!" Kimi frantically shouted and knelt down beside the man and began to shake him awake. "Oi, sensei?!"

"d**n, am I in trouble?" Amber asked, as she tried and help the man she thought was molesting her. "Dang, Jiraiya-sama just gave me a scolding yesterday."

"Oi, is he alright?" asked the stoic, expressionless voice of Uchiha Sasuke. He stared at his sensei for a moment before his eyes flickered towards Amber. However, Amber was too busy staring at the fallen man to notice.

"Sasuke-kun!" Kimi let out in a surprise manner, "Can you wake him up?"

"SASUKE-TEME!!" Came the loud voice of the 4th Hokage's legacy, Uzumaki Naruto, or so Amber was informed.

It was not as if Amber became a total ignorant when it comes to being a ninja, actually after she got out of the hospital Jiraiya was kind enough to supervise her training, along with his other student Naruto. Kimi was some help, explaining things about her bloodline along the way. The scrolls the council gave her, was where she got the most information, about her clan and her bloodline. But, they didn't help when it comes to restoring her memories.

"Hey Amber," a hand waved in front of her, "Pssst...Amber!"

Amber snapped out of her trance as she returned the look, the molester from a while ago, was giving her. "What do you want?" replied her voice in a harsh tone.

The man merely chuckled in reply, "As volatile and violent as always, Amber-chan."

"You know me?"

"Of course, one as loud and obnoxious isn't hard to miss you know." Was his obscure reply, Amber raised an eyebrow at the silver haired man. "What's that supposed to mean?!"

"I meant no harm, Amber, just stating the obvious."

Amber growled aggressively, ready to start another Ninja War, "Why you...!" Another hand snaked up towards her waist as Amber was about to attack the jounin/molester from a while ago.

"Put me down, Ero-sennin!" Amber screamed in a hostile manner, flailing her arms everywhere,

"You know, I'm beginning to wonder how that student of mine was able to control your temper. Such savagely raised child, not fit for a woman."

The three Genins merely raised their brows in an incredulous manner; their mission was just to help around Konoha after they were brutally attacked by Orochimaru, his Sound Ninjas, and the Sand Country. Debris was everywhere, but everyone who survived was trying their best to restore Konoha back to the way it was.

It was the day after the 3rd Hokage's funeral, and everybody paid their respects to the old man, even Amber was there. Even though she did not remember who he was, she felt great respect for him deep inside her heart.

"Oi, Amber, the council has observed your training and you have been creating impressive progress under my teaching. And so, they ordered for me to train you until your memories come back, and they placed you into Jounin level according to your data progress."

"Oh yeah! I'm the Great Ninja Amber, believe it!"

Sasuke and Kimi stared back and forth towards Naruto and Amber, "Are you sure that's your sibling?" asked the avenger, Kimi merely shrugged and smiled towards him. "I truly have no idea."

"Leaving so soon, Amber?" Amber turned her back to stare at the old wrinkled face of the Hokage. Her stoic expression remained, but her head slowly nodded. "Yes."

"You do know the consequences of betraying your family, your home, and yourself? Do you not?" It was raining hard, but the Hokage didn't seem to mind. "And, joining Orochimaru, do you not have dignity for yourself, Amber?"

"Hokage-sama, my decisions are mine to make, I do not care for my dignity anymore. Just as long as I get enough power to resurrect Yanagi-okaa-san back. I will help Orochimaru-sama in perfecting that technique."

"However, you know there are certain flaws and consequences when it comes to tampering with life?" asked Sandaime, as Amber turned her back towards him.

"Yes," she replyed in a toneless voice, "I know what it means, to tamper with the laws of mankind, and the certain rules you have to follow. But, I consider myself rebellious as Anshi-sensei acclaims, and so I refuse to follow them."

"And what about Kimi? You do know that leaving her behind with the sins you committed will lead to her being shunned by the villagers?"

"I know that Kimi, is strong enough to live without the older sister who ambitions to step into the God's territory, I believe Kimi will be safe here in Konoha, just as long as she strays away from Orochimaru's path."

The Hokage bent down and picked up the head protector that Amber so hardly gained; he stared at its metal part, and the symbol of Konohakagure that was embedded into it.

"Amber," Amber turned back to stare at the Hokage, "I hope you do not let other things pester you from your dream." And with that, Sandaime turned and started to walk away.

"Is it me, or is Kimi's sister kind of out of it?" muttered Naruto, as he stared at Amber; Sasuke continued to ignore his blonde teammate, feeling that is was useless to talk to one as idiotic as Naruto.

Amber snapped out of her daze and stared at her hands, "...betrayed?"

"Now she's talking to her hand, I told you she was crazy." Implied Naruto.

Suddenly, a kunai was placed on poor Naruto's cheeks, and Amber's face appeared beside him a few inches away. "Those are some pretty nostalgic things you're saying there, blondie." Amber said in a creepy, toneless voice.

Naruto widens his eyes and runs towards Jiraiya, "She scares me! She's worst than Sakura-chan and Ino!"

Jiraiya merely chuckled towards his student, "Don't worry Naruto, she won't cause you any harm unless you provoke her."

"Anyways, that one girl Anko sent me to buy her some dumplings, you guys want to come?" Amber asked, acting all hyperactive that it rivaled Naruto's attitude.

Kakashi nodded towards her, "I'll come with you, I have some things to settle anyway."

"Okies!"

So, the two of them went towards the Dumpling shop, and as Amber reached the designated place. She halted in front of the store as she sees two men in cloaks drinking tea inside a particular shop. Instinct was telling her that they were trouble, but then again Amber was too stubborn to trust her instincts.

Soon, Asuma came waltzing by towards the shop, he quirked an eyebrow at the two. "Am I interrupting something?"

Amber kept staring at the two men on the shop, they were awfully very familiar, but she couldn't pinpoint a certain memory that she ever came across them. Amber's eyes glaze over to one of the rings that they were wearing, "Scarlet?"

"And what are you two doing here?" asked Asuma inquiringly, Kakashi just closed his book and turned towards the Jounin.

"Well, I came to accompany Amber as you can see, and I'm meeting someone here." He stole a glance towards the strangers inside the shop. "Sasuke that is."

"Oh, it's unusual for you to wait for someone else, are you and Amber on a date?" asked the older Jounin. The masked one merely chuckled, as Asuma stared at the two strangers as well.

"Something like that." Kakashi replied merrily.

Kakashi tapped Amber on her shoulder as she looked up and stared at him; he motioned something with his eye to keep a close call on those two. Sasuke came walking towards the two of them, he looked utterly surprised. "Kakashi? Since when are you early for meetings?"

"I do it from time to time."

The avenger stared at his sensei and then averted his gaze towards two teas that were left over. "I don't like natto and sweets."

"Oh, really?" Kakashi replied lazily and with no interest. He glanced at the two, Amber nodded and disappeared followed by Asuma.

Up at the river banks, the two cloak wearing strangers halted to a stop as Amber and Asuma stood before them.

Amber placed a hand on her hips and stared at these two strangers, "You two aren't from this village aren't you?"

"Why did you come here?" asked Asuma as he kept a fixated eye on the two.

The much shorter one was the one to reply, "It's been a while Asuma-san, Amber-chan."

Amber's lips tightened, "No one I don't know calls me with a chan on the end, and so in that case, you must be a former ninja of this village."

The two didn't reply, but the shorter one who called Amber by her nickname began to remove his straw hat, only to reveal his eyes. Which were in an unusual red color, Amber activated her own Doujutsu while keeping a fixated gaze on this criminal.

Asuma however widened his eyes, "You're..." the one with the Scarlet ring removed his hat completely, only to reveal a boy, he looked much like her age. But unlike Amber, he kept a full stoic expression.

"There's no mistake, Uchiha...Itachi."

Amber quickly noted the scratch on his forehead protector, a criminal exiled from his village. But somehow, she kept having Deja vu feelings for this young man. Her heart had begun beating in an abnormal phase, but she disregarded it.

"You know the man beside Amber, Itachi-san? Then I should introduce myself too." the taller one finally spoke; he carried an unusually colossal weapon. He to began to remove his hat, to reveal a blue skin toned man. If he was in water, Amber would mistake him for a mutated fish.

"Hoshigaki Kisame, nice to make your acquaintance." He proudly wore his scratched head protector on his forehead, bearing the symbol of the Mist.

Amber smirked at these two strangers, "You two are not making any acquaintances here; I'm going to eliminate the two of you, right here, right now."

"Itachi-san, seems like you're hated by your woman."

'His woman?!'

"Hmph! I also know you from my research, Hoshigaki Kisame of the Hidden Mist Gatana. You're a renegade Ninja wanted by numerous countries, including the country of Water, for assassinating the Feudal Lord, as well as sabotage and many other serious crimes!"

Amber pointed her pointer finger at them, "Two renegade S-class Criminals in the Bingo Book. Targeted!"

"Itachi, you came back to this village after what you pulled, you've got a lot of guts coming here." Asuma stated as he kept his gaze intact.

The one known as Itachi didn't flinch or anything, he just remained with a serious expression on his face. "Asuma-san, please don't get involved in our work, I have no intention on killing you."

Asuma wondered why Amber was spared in his explanation. Did he come here to kill her as well? "That's not something that a guy who killed his clan members can say. I know you wouldn't come here without a reason. What is your purpose? Are you here to target Amber?"

Amber widened her eyes, "What?! What'd I ever do to you people?"

Kisame pulled out his sword and motions towards Asuma, "This person is quite annoying. Shall I kill him?"

"It looks like we cannot leave this village without a fight. But don't overdo it. Your moves stand out too much." Itachi replied in a monotone voice. He kept his emotions intact very well, than Amber can handle.

Asuma stared at Kisame, ready to fight him in battle. Amber wasn't sure if she wanted to fight with this guy, he made her feel sick, very revolted inside. There was something he did to her, that she couldn't very well remember.

"I didn't know that I had to fight you so soon, Amber-chan." Itachi stated as he disappeared in front of her, and then suddenly appearing behind her. Quickly performing a series of hand seals, Amber performed Kokuangyou no Jutsu. [Bringer of Darkness technique]

But, Amber quickly forgot about the Sharingan eye that he possessed. Itachi quickly saw the illusion and her attack backfired towards her. But Amber was quick to her feet and sent several kicks towards Itachi.

He caught her foot and quickly sent Amber towards a tree, with quick intuition Amber gathered chakra on the soles of her foot and landed safely. "He's too fast, and he can quickly perform jutsus."

Amber didn't quite notice him behind her; Itachi grabbed her neck and slammed her on the tree. "How dare you betray us, Amber?"

His eyes, they intimidated a whole lot, Amber quickly closed her eyes and opened them again. She sent her knee towards his groin, but Itachi evaded the attack.

"You cannot win against me, without your memories, you are nothing but useless." His words rang loud and clear in her head as Itachi sent a kick towards her, which sent Amber sprawling on the water of the river.

"That was nice, Amber." Amber looked back to see him standing over her, she deviated her gaze towards another her behind him.

The one Itachi attacked disappeared in a cloud of smoke, "Shadow Clone?"

"Of course," The Sharingan prodigy turned around to see the nook of Amber's Ragnarok blade, her eyes scorned with pity and malicious intent.

"My name is Amber Miri, also known as the Greatest Ninja ever," Amber pointed her blade towards Itachi with a coy smile on her face.

"Got it memorized?"
